The Picture of Amy Barragan

I drank a lot of Mountain Dew right before bed tonight and have had some trouble sleeping. I had the first few lines of my next post come to me in bed just now, and didn't want to forget them. So I came out into the living room to write them down in here and found that people had commented on my Amy Barragan post. And alright "What-ever", who-ever you are (who are you by the way?), you win. This and this are the best I could do. She's the one in the collage that's not Jennifer Aniston or Zooey Deschanel. And while Craig thinks she looks like an alien, I actually think she's pretty pretty. No matter, she's enigmatically awful. If you know the story then you know. But if you don't, you probably wouldn't believe it without losing your bottom teeth when your jaw violently dropped to the floor. Happens to everyone who hears it. This whole scummy spousal support thing is just icing. I'm not saying Chris shouldn't have handled the end of that marriage better, and I wish I could turn back the clock. But his crimes and my crimes, for which he and I have both apologized and paid for, are massively dwarfed by hers. For which she has never once even acknowledged much less given him the slightest hint of a, "Hey I'm really sorry I screwed with your life for 6 years," or, "Wow I can't believe you hung in there and treated me so well for so long even though I was impossibly cold and withholding." But wait, this is just supposed to be about the spousal support. Thing is, I really wish I was righteous enough to say I handled this thing with the quiet dignity and grace that I should have. But instead, I've indulged the want to defame her and make some serious fun of the constant pretense she lives in. Shoot, I didn't mean to get this far. I hope I didn't forget the lines that came to me in bed a few minutes ago.
