We hadn't had any snow at all yet, but woke up to a bunch today. Chris got a GoPro for his birthday, and he and Craig took the kids sledding, and then made this video.

Gingerbread House Party!

Olive and Lucy's friend, Emma (pictured with Olive), had a gingerbread house party. The kids had a blast! And, they may or may not have eaten their gingerbread houses for breakfast today...

Olive asked him for a flashlight, Lucy asked him for girlish Legos, George asked him for a boat, and he told Penelope he'd bring her a dolly.

the Wards

Hayley's my oldest, best friend; we've known each other since we were like Georgey's age. I love that we get to get together each month for dinner. This month we decided to make it a whole family thing, and include the husbands and kids. So glad to have our kids play with each other.

The Nutcracker

Mom came up and joined Olive, Lucy, and me to go out for a fancy dinner at Wendy's and then to see The Nutcracker. The girls were in awe, and really enjoyed the show. I loved watching their faces. We all got a little slaphappy too, and giggled so so much. Mom got the girls each something from the boutique in the lobby - Olive got a purple wand, and Lucy got some fancy pink gloves. It was such a fun, memorable night, and the first of many Nutcracker performances we girls will see each year!

Last night we had our church Christmas party, it was lovely. And then Chris got surprise Santa Baby'd, and that was hilarious.
