Frosting

Chris got me a really nice tip set and some frosting bags for Christmas, and today I put them to use for the first time. I had some blueberries that needed to be eaten up, so I made blueberry almond cupcakes with a honey buttercream frosting. It was such a delightful project for me. I really just love to bake! (And eat! They were terribly yummy...)

Frozen

Took the older 3 to see Frozen today (after they earned it by doing chores), and we all had a great time!

WSU is 125

Yesterday we celebrated Weber State's 125th anniversary. There were festivities on campus during the day, and then Chris and I went to the dinner/show that night. The theme was steampunk, which I had never heard of, but it was totally fun dressing up. We had a great time with the Gruas and the Hamblins too. Fun day!

New Year's Day = Puzzles & Forts

Here's how we spent our New Year's Eve: we counted down with the kids around 6:30 and then put them to bed. Andrew and Catherine and a friend of theirs, and Craig and Hilary, came and we ate and watched television and did a 1000 piece puzzle. It was a fun night! Happy New Year!!
