Spring break!

Easter morning

We talked all week about the holy events in the life of Jesus Christ, and then culminated this morning with a little discussion about the resurrection. The kids didn't even remember that the Easter Bunny came, we had to tell them. They each got a few treats and gifts in their Easter baskets, and then we took these pictures before we got on the road for our spring break trip. Funny, beautiful little children.

Easter celebration #1

We've been talking about Holy Week this week, but today we threw in a little Easter fun. The kids had an egg hunt with the church play group, and ate all their candy immediately afterward, and then for quiet time George and Lucy watched Hop.

We hit the park after Target and the play place and the field trip...because I'm such a fun mom... Georgey could not stop giggling on the swing. I had a ball with these kids today. ♡♡

Lucky

Leprechaun shenanigans, candy pots, Lucky Charms, corned beef lunch, tattoos, shamrock cookies, parade, and a long evening at the park. We had a very long, very fun St. Patrick's day for sure!
