...and then took an exceedingly long drive to go see about a dining table that we didn't end up buying. But don't worry, we rocked out to the Bumblebee Tuna song over and over during the drive.

...so he went down for an early nap, while the three sisters watched The Nightmare Before Christmas.

What We're Doing While Dad Is Away (1)

Chris left early this morning for a sales meeting in Phoenix. We won't see him till Friday. I decided to bombard his inbox with a series of pictures of what we're doing while he's gone. The rest of you who get our email feed may want to ignore us until Friday, it might get obnoxious!

Here's our first picture. Lucy and George are coloring. Lucy's got a Hello Kitty book, and Georgey has a Marvel book. Lucy is picking a page for George, and George is saying, "Cheeeeeese," for the camera. Right after I took this picture, Lucy said, "Where's Daddy?" I said, "He's on an airplane," and then we immediately heard the sound of an airplane out our window. Lucy looked delighted and said, "I hear him!"

Costume Party at Dance, Etc.

The girls got to wear their costumes today! The place where they take ballet, Dance, Etc., had a costume party. They had snacks and treats, and watched Snow White (which is the show they're doing for their recital in the spring). They had such a fun time. Here are a few pictures...

Fun Fall Friday

This morning we went to the pumpkin patch in Henderson with the playgroup friends. This evening we went to the fall fair at the elementary school. It was a fun day!
