with the hamblins next door, there are super duper frequent visits happening. and when the moms and dads don't want the party to end we just have the kids get in their jammies and crash out until we're done. we're calling it sleepunders.

went to the WSU block party today!

a morning at the park, an afternoon without Ike*, and an evening at the temple

*Left the back door standing wide open when we left to run errands, and Ike left. We said a prayer, and felt totally led by the Lord to the place he was within minutes. A sweet family a few streets away from us found him and took care of him for us, and it was a sweet reunion when we got him back.

This morning the kids had a baseball game in the yard, complete with the national anthem. 

Weekend

I'm blessed with really good friends. Delightful seeing some of them this weekend. I feel like it's a glimpse of what heaven will be like when I'm reunited with people I love. Great weekend.

a night away

Chris' college had meetings in Park City last night and today, so I tagged along and we had a very brief night away. It's so nice and comforting having Mom close by so we can do little things like this.
