We buried Linda this morning. We think it just got too cold for her out there. George helped Chris bury her, and we all said things we remembered about her. Lucy said she liked to eat lettuce. Olive said how all the kids loved to hold her, and Chris remembered about when she was smaller Olive used to put her in her jewelry box or in her bicycle basket. George will likely not ever remember her, but he was the one who loved and enjoyed her most. He was always very excited when we'd spot her around the yard, and "turtle" and "Linda" were among the first words he ever spoke. She escaped a few times, and she pooped on our patio, but we loved her oh so much. Rest in peace, Linda. We love you.
