We're in our new house! We had a bunch of help from family and friends unloading the truck. Shane stayed for hours after everyone else left, playing with the kids, helping Chris lift and move and assemble, and being delightful. We met two of our new neighbors; one brought us popsicles, and the other brought us homemade cherry ice cream. We had to hurry and eat them because neither our fridge nor our AC was working! The fridge has since been fixed; an electrician had wired the outlet wrong so he came and fixed it. The AC won't be fixed till tomorrow, and it's record temps outside, so we are roasting. Chris made an icy cold bath, and everyone took turns in it. In other news, we had The Pie and Brigham's Brew for dinner - a very Utah meal for move-in night! Can't wait to get unpacked, feel settled, and get into a routine.
