Last night was Young Women in Excellence, and I had worked pretty hard to prepare for it so I really wanted Chris to come, but the kids couldn't so he couldn't. At the last minute, a good pal offered to take the kids for us and Chris came along. As I was bustling around the room making sure everything was going smoothly, I noticed Chris talking to one of the girls. And as I watched more closely, I realized he was going around the room to each girl and their display, and he had a genuine several-minute exchange with each one. It made each one of those girls feel special, and it made me adore him even more. He is the very best.
