Chris doesn't like a whole lot of doting, but I have to say he continues to be a way better father than I knew a man could be. He is present and engaged and fun and supportive. He teaches the kids the most important things and the most silly things. He is the very best.
Today the kids sang to him at church. He was conducting the meeting, and we made him wear a star that said Best Dad Ever, for all to see. And after church, we left him a note telling him to arm himself with a Nerf gun and come find us somewhere in the house. Then we ambushed him. It was pretty fun. He cooked a yummy dinner of ribs and corn on the cob, and then we had s'mores dip as a treat. A fun, easy, memorable day. We love our daddy!!
