Chris had a day trip out of town, so between dropping him off at the airport and picking him back up, we had such a fun day! After we dropped him off we went to Dunford Bakery, a place I've been wanting to check out for a while. Man, they make the best donuts, and I know good donuts!! We grabbed a dozen and took them to Hayley's. The kids played, and we chatted, for a good 3 hours. It was so fun. After that we met Mom at a McDonald's play place, and then we went on the indoor ferris wheel at Scheels. So fun and so scary! Then we headed over to Jenny's. She and I took the kids canoeing around the lake near her house, and then the kids got to play in the water do a while. Then Jenny got all the kids ice cream cones. We were pretty pooped, but needed to have dinner and kill more time before getting Chris. Lucky for us, Hayley invited us back over for pizza and playing. We had a lovely time, again. Then, exhausted and finally reaching our limits, we went and got Chris, came home, washed the grubby off us, and put the kids to bed. Seriously such a fun day!!! We love summer! We love our friends and family!!
